The Railway Public House and Dining Room The Railway Euxton Having undergone complete refurbishment the Railway Public House and Dining Room opened on Friday 27th April 2007. The Railway is under the ownership of local people with a local management team. Our policy is to support local businesses, buying the finest, freshest produce available and where possible organic ingredients. The Railway is one of the first bar / restaurants in the area to be totally non-smoking, however we do offer designated covered smoking areas for those who wish to smoke. According to our Euxton correspondent, Paul, the Bay Horse pub lunches and meals are absolutely superb, and we are also advised that they can even do my favourite, egg & chips! The Bay Horse was originally a coaching house, so meals have to be good. The Euxton Mills! Euxton Mills, has an extensive menu, specials board, senior citizens special, children's choice, and a selection of meals available at low prices from the "Winter Warmers" menu. The Euxton Mills offers superior service from great staff, as well as good quantity and quality of food. Built as a coaching house 'The Grapes', circa 1760, corner of Wigan Road and Dawbers Lane, it is well known for its Ghost Visits. Papa Luigi's Yet another Italian restaurant! Mind you Spaghetti Bolognaise is OK! But then, I am an egg and chips man. Its located on Wigan Road (A49 Eastern side).
